●2020年主要クラスイベント

2020ジュニアワールド・ジュニアヨーロッパ選手権
Gdynia, ポーランド
8月22日～29日

ヨーロッパの現状とCovid-19の急増を考えると、このイベントは中止となります。
開幕間近になってしまったことは残念ですが、クラスは安全を第一に考えており、選手やサポートチームが困難な状況に陥ることは避けたいと考えています。

2020年ワールド・ヨーロッパ選手権

Palma de Mallorca, スペイン
10月2日～10日
CNアレナル主催

世界情勢の悪化により470ワールドは中止となり、当面はヨーロピアンオープンのみの開催となります。
また、各フリートに5名以上のエントリーがあれば、ジュニアヨーロピアンのタイトルが授与されます。

今後の状況は継続的に検討され、1ヶ月後には更なる決定がなされ発表される予定です。
2020年8月末までには、レガッタが開催される場合に発動される安全規定を公表し、Palmaで適用される様々な対策を誰もが事前に知ることができるようにする予定です。


●2021年主要クラスイベント

マスターズカップの日程は未定ですが、5大クラスのうち4つのイベントは以下の通りです。

This is the latest update from the 470 Class Management Committee, following further discussions with our event organizers.

2020 Major Class Events

2020 Junior World & Junior European Championships
Gdynia, POL
22-29 August

Given the current situation in Europe and the surge of Covid-19 cases almost everywhere, this event is CANCELLED. It is unfortunate that we came again so close to the event’s opening but the Class is putting safety above everything else and does not wish to bring athletes and support teams in a difficult situation.

2020 World & European Championships
Palma de Mallorca, ESP
2-10 Octobe
Hosted by CN Arenal

The current global situation forces the CANCELLATION of the World Championship, and this event for the moment remains on the table as the OPEN EUROPEAN CHAMPIONSHIP only. In addition, Junior European titles will be awarded if there are 5 or more entries in each of the respective fleets.
The situation will be under continuous assessment and in one month’s time there will be further decisions taken and announced. By the end of August 2020 we will publish the safety protocol that will be in force if the regatta will take place, so that everybody will know in advance about the various measures that will apply in Palma.
